Hez Gotta Golden Touch
Barn names: Trigger or Trig
Age: 6 y/o
Foaled: 1998
Color: palomino
Markings: blaze, 3 stockings and a sock
Breed: Quarter horse
Gender: gelding
Height: 15.1hh
currently not registered but I hope to register him with the Palomino Ass.

In training/trained for: Trail, western pleasure, hunter pleasure, equitation, showmanship, halter

future hopes for him: I'd really like to maybe do eventing with him. He dosen't have any jump training but he jumps nicely out in the pasture. Another thing I would like to do with him is reining. We'll see what happens in the next few years.

personality: He generally is a good boy. He has his moments. He can get mad if he dosen't get his way but all he does is slowly back up, quiver his lower lip or throw his head. He's never bucked or reared or done anything really dangerous. He dosen't usually spook at anything. Pretty laid back.

history: My grandpa bought him for me last september. The pepole we got him from bought him in texas as a yearling stud colt and the guy trained him himself. Trigger was his girlfriend's horse. They just used him for trail riding. They went all over the U.S. on trail rides so Trig is pretty seasoned as far as trails go. This year I've started showing him. He's never been shown but I think he's too pretty just to waste on trails. I hopefully will be getting him registered with the palomino ass. soon so next year I will show him in open and palomino shows. He has a lot of potential.

Show Record
S.M.I.L.E.S. Annual Benefit Open Show at the Walworth Co. fairgrounds (Mine and Trigger's first show)
July 19th and 20th 2003
Color horse at halter: 6th o/o 8
showmanship: 6th o/o 9
Jr. walk/trot: 6th o/o 6
Comments: He had his first bath the day before and he wasn't clipped or banded or anything. He did great for his first show and considering I didn't have him spruced up. It was his first time being ridden in an arena and he never spooked or acted up. I'm very proud of him.

WAHA Open Show at the Walworth Co. fairgrounds
October 5th, 2003
Color Horse at halter-6th o/o 7
Showmanship: 6th o/o 10
Comments: He looked a lot better at this show. He wasn't being very well behaved but I handled it pretty well. He sidestepped away from the judge when she walked around him in showmanship but I got him under control so we still got 6th. Not bad. That was the biggest class he's placed in.
